WTF HAPPENED? UPDATE:

1. Those who followed my personal journal know that the 10K Commotion webspace was hacked into last year and some people were using the space to host fake bank websites phishing for personal info. Both Bank of America and Wachovia contacted the host about it and the site was suspended until I called and verfied that it wasn't mine so I could get the passwords back.

2. During the time that my site was down, the fake bankers also deleted some of my images folders (to upload their own fake bank logo folder) and other random files.

3. Within a week of me finding out about that, the HD on my computer also died; the backup disk where I'd been saving my files was semi-corrupt. In other words, the files that the intruders deleted were gone forever and I was without a computer to even try making them again.

WHICH MEANS: Yes, I had to save up, buy a new computer. Now more than half a year later, I'm finally able to make a new index! The 10K Commotion is also moving to a new host-- that was all just a big mess I want to leave behind now.

Almost everything I was able to save is up again at this new site-- already I can barely stand looking at these old drawings anymore (which I guess is a good sign? either my hands or my eyes are improving)-- And a very exciting, educational, but also rocky and at times OTL-inspiring chapter in my life is now coming to a close. Very soon this screen will finally, after more than five years, say CLEARED. :)
